When the Wind Blows by Raymond Briggs is a play about an elderly (James and Hilda Bloggs) preparing for a forthcoming nuclear apocalypse.
They carefully construct their shelter, following governmental directives and reminisce with nostalgia about WW2.
Then the bomb comes and they have to manage the fallout and its consequences.
It is a very poignant and touching play.
