This autumn, we’re thrilled to present The Unfriend, a riotously funny black comedy by Steven Moffat, fresh from its acclaimed West End run, where it starred comedy favourites Lee Mack, Frances Barber, and Sarah Alexander.
Directed by Nick Barber, The Unfriend tells the story of a perfectly ordinary English couple, Peter and Debbie (played by Robin Hillman and Karen Croshaw), whose polite middle-class manners are tested to the limit when their holiday acquaintance, the mysterious Elsa (Claire Henson), unexpectedly arrives for a visit — and turns out to be a suspected serial killer. Add in teenage chaos courtesy of Alex and Rosie (James Lovell and Sophie Thomas), a nosy neighbour (Ross Green), and a bumbling police officer (Andrew Green), and you’ve got all the ingredients for a truly side-splitting evening.
This talented cast is sure to bring energy and sharp comic timing to a contemporary farce with a delightfully sinister twist!
Doors open 7 pm for a 7:30 pm start.
