A brand-new play by Matthew Peter Clare (director, musical director, and producer of Black Sheep Theatre Productions).
Following a run of bold and emotional work including Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens, Falsettos, Z for Zelda, Nothing & Everything Else, The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, and The Tempest, Black Sheep Theatre Productions returns with an original, hard-hitting new piece.
The Inner Selves is a four-person play exploring the collapse of a marriage under the weight of trauma, burnout, and mental health struggles. Over the course of one emotionally volatile night, Henry and Nora confront their past, their pain, and each other, accompanied by the ever-present voices in their heads: their Inner Selves.
Featuring:
Dan Poppitt as Henry | Charlie Clarke as Nora
Josh Woodgate as Henry’s Inner Self | Chloe Pearson as Nora’s Inner Self
Set design by Anne Loren Enriquez Comia
