High School Musical" tells the story of Troy Bolton, the popular basketball captain, and Gabriella Montez, a new, academically gifted transfer student, who discover a shared love for singing and audition for the school musical together. This seemingly simple act disrupts the established social order at East High, as Troy and Gabriella's friendship and musical ambition challenge the school's cliques and traditions.
