KYDS Youth Drama Society

KYDS is a an educational charity working with young people and members of the community in Tiptree and surrounding areas of Essex.

Every year we hold workshops and rehearsals in acting, singing and dance. Some of these sessions are led by professionals and others by our experienced volunteers. By learning these skills, the young people we work with develop a range of ‘soft skills’ such as confidence and teamwork which help them in later life.

Our work is mainly focussed around 2 productions each year, one in the Summer and one in the Autumn. Following a comprehensive programme of workshops and rehearsals, our high quality productions are then performed to the public.
