The world of theatre comes in many forms Opera, Ballet, Dramas and comedy. One of the most difficult
to pull off successfully is farce. Not only do the actors need to learn many lines but have to be aware of
quick entrances and exits, bits of business and all of these to be performed with panash.

The production of Tom Dick and Harry had all of these together with surpurb teamwork.

The mainstay of the production rest firmly on the shoulders of (Shaun Baker) playing Tom.
A tower of strength thought-out the evening, but requires a little more light and shade in his voice.
He was ably supported by his brothers Dick(Derek Elmore) and Harry (Nick Swain). There were some delightful moments of comedy between these actors, but sometimes all three needed to relax into the part and not anticipate comedy lines, making it a little pantomimeish at times. The wife Linda was beautifully played by (Tracy Phillips) who added to the mayhem.

But if I was asked to present an acting accolade for the evening it would go to Keith Jackson as constable Downs as the police constable. just the right amount of bewilderment, which added to the fun. Mrs Potts
was given the right amount of comedy which added to the hilarity. Young Harry Newman had a good accent and looked very menacing playing Boris.

The two 'illegal immigrants were extremely well played by Loraine Camp and Sally Murphy these parts are very difficult to play, and to play opposite, as nobody understands what they are saying. So cue lines have to be judged very carefully, and they did this with great aplomb.
All in all a good evenings entertainment.
