The Haven Players at Christmas

This annual event is always a good way to start Christmas and this year was a little different with the introduction of some of the Robin Post Singers who added to the entertainment.  Neil Beck led the proceedings throughout and the programme contained Christmassy solos, group items and readings.  The highlights included the extremely funny John Julius Norwich's "The Twelve Days of Christmas Thank You Letters."  The Potted Panto "Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs" was great fun and the inclusion of the Frosty the Snowman dance was lovely. Of course, there were lots of lovely carols and some of these were sung by the audience as well. The mulled wine and mince pies served to the audience were much appreciated and all in all we knew Christmas was coming very soon.
