The Cardiff Gang Show was back in town again and brought their familiar style of show in an extravaganza of entertainment in song, dance, and comedy and stormed the stage of the New Theatre with this musical version of The 4G Race.

The principal cast delivered the story with ease and were excellently cast, there was no individual ‘star’ just a galaxy of rich talent, congratulations must go to the full cast, all 120 of them.

There was quite a modern touch to this year’s show and it must have taken months of hard work to bring together all the Cubs, Brownies, Guides and Scouts from around the district. Their efforts were certainly well rewarded for what we saw was a colourful, bright and energetic show.

A well organised production, imaginative and exciting routines backed by a good-sounding lively band. There is a lot of talent among the youngsters in this production and they are obviously loving the experience of taking part, so future gang shows look set to go from strength to strength.

The show was well structured and each piece flowed smoothly into the next, the stage crew should be commended for this. The sets were very good and complemented the action.

Lighting and sound was good and well executed throughout the show. There was good use of props, which were imaginative and well made.

Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you for a lovely warm welcome.
