Relatively Speaking

In Alan Ayckbourn's own words "a well constructed play" but unless you have 4 consummate actors to play the parts all the construction and words would be to no avail. However Mary Baird had achieved just the right balance with her cast. To single out anyone of the four players would be very wrong as Amy Walters, James Daw, Nick Grainger and Pam Doody all brought to the play their own polished performances. I must compliment Andrew McGowan and Festival Players on a brilliant set which facilitated a very quick change from the Bed-sit to the garden of the 'Willows'. Well done to everybody and I look forward to Calender Girls in October.
