It would be difficult to find fault with this exciting show. The singing all-round was excellent; the dance routines showed variety and deft footwork; the comedy was great and the acting was fine.An excellent line-up of principals featured Adam Saunby as Bill Snibson and Louise Kirk as Sally Smith. Both suited their roles admirably and they worked very well together showing commendable acting, singing and dancing skills. Julie Leaning's indomitable Duchess of Dene was a delightful foil to Tony Graves' intemperate Sir John Tremayne while Brett Grantham-Rae's Parchester, the solicitor, was quite captivating. All the rest of the named parts were strong in support and in characterisation and the chorus' participation was fine. The stage crew was very efficient making swift changes largely through competent use of back cloths. the lighting was dramatic, the sound effects were realistic and the costumes were excellent. This show was most enjoyable.
