History,  Mystery & Listerine! is this year's Summer Show for RMDS.

Three different mini shows in one night with 3 different casts, each preforming 'their' show 3 times to the different audience. This is a great idea and makes for a fun night. Complete with some lovely trays of food between each show during the interval.

Each show has its own area to preform in, and all have worked hard on the scenery, sound, lighting, costume etc and each show has its own, Director, & Musical Director.

We saw Mystery first, it was a fun tale of ghosts and ghouls in a haunted house, complete with cartoon characters, Daphne, Fred, Velma and Shaggy not forgetting Scooby Doo. Some great costumes and make-up for all the cast. The choreography was just right and a great range of songs made for a feel good show. The set was hand painted and looked fantastic. You could tell the cast were really enjoying themselves.

In History there are lots of ghosts from different historical times stuck in an old building which is about to be knocked down. There is a nice story and a great way to learn some historical information, the characters all stood out, complete with some comedy moments. Everyone in this cast was a really strong singer, and there was some nice song choices, I really liked the song between “WW2 Pilot” and the “Plague girl” some great dance moves and a good set.

Listerine, was our last show of the night and this time set at a party. Everyone was dreassed in their party clothes mostly black, white and red with lots of sequins, it started with a couple on stage getting a drink, and then more people started arriving at the 'party'. This was a funny show, I really liked the song by one of the guys having been left by his mate, who goes to hide in the bathroom, but then more and more of the action starts to takes place there. Some very funny lines with various characters,  also great song choices and good choreography, making the dance numbers stand out.

There is always a great deal of work with the summer shows, and you should all be very proud of yourselves for another great evening of entertainment.
