This was a delightful show and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Mike Knell was the definitive Kipps - he made the character so likeable and was a joy to watch and listen to. Ann (played by Alison Campion) gave the part great happiness and pathos in good measure and used her singing voice to great effect. The shop boys and girls all sang and danced their way in the hearts of the audience. Master Draper Shalford was played in great style by Derek Kemp. Bob Murray gave a wonderfully over the top performance as Chitterlow, an Actor and the trio of the Walsingham family were ideally cast as this upper crust family. There was great support from the chorus and the three dancers were a charming trio. All were well dressed and the set was ideal, giving plenty of room for movement. All those who helped in any way are to be congratuulated for the smooth running of this production.
