This show has always been a great favourite of mine. It appeals to all ages, has beautiful songs and plenty of opportunity to show off great acting skills. This particular production had all of this in abundance. The dancing was superb. Wonderful ideas exceedingly cleverly performed and costumed with so much imagination that the choreography gave this particular show a star quality. The set was very well handled with changes smooth and efficient, the lighting was brilliant and the M D should be congratulated for his exceptional handling of a 12 piece orchestra who brought all the music to life without drowning the great vocals from both chorus and principals. The Beast played superbly by Tony Bright who not only acted and sang the part outstandingly, his make-up was totally convincing and I loved his touches of humour which made the show that little bit different. Caroline Bennett was also captivating as Belle. She sang superbly with great feeling and her acting was a joy to watch. Matt Harris (Gaston), Steve Wallace (Cogsworth) and Dane Norris (Lumiere) were so aptly cast in their various and very different roles, the three silly girls were a delight to watch and all the other principals, without exception, should be very proud of being part of such a wonderful production. My very sincere congratulations to you all.
