Best if BMS

This was a concert which included items from many of the shows presented by this Society over the years and was also a showcase for the many talented performers in the current company. The concert was very well presented and was a great credit to the production team. The dedication and hard work certainly paid off, it was a joy to behold and I am sure a joy to perform. On stage we were treated to an abundance of talent with individual items from some reprising past principal roles, some recent principal roles and also some newly emerging principals from the youth group. They all demonstrated the high standards now being achieved on the amateur stage. If I had to pick an item it would have to be Anthem from Chess, so intense, and also Three Little Maids for the moment of comedy so well done. It was great to see so many men performing, even the Three little Maids! The chorus work was also excellent with a good balance and nice interpretation. This was a very entertaining evening as shown by the audience and the infectious enjoyment of the performers on stage.
