Annie Jnr

It is always a joy to see this group perform and Annie was no exception as a showcase for their talent and enthusiasm. The show was well prepared no doubt as a result of hard work and a dedicated production team. Adam made his debut as director and he should be very satisfied with the very good end result. The music was in the hands of Dave, he again brought out great singing from principals and chorus and you could hear all the words as well. Holly Pilgrim led the cast with a super performance as Annie both vocally and dramatically while Jessica Bridge was well in character with a great performance as Miss Hannigan. Josh Judson and Emily Watts were very good in the roles of Warbucks and Grace. There were lovely character performances from Alistair Mackintosh and Hattie Kemish as Rooster and Lily, Hattie did seem to be completely in character throughout. There was full support from all the cast with lots of good individual performances. The dance routines were well choreographed with some lovely dancing including a nice tap routine. Costumes, furniture, props and lighting all helped convey the atmosphere of the piece. Great entertainment enjoyed by all privileged to be there.
