Under the terms of the Data Protection Act, we are obliged to have the personal consent of members that they are happy for NODA to circulate their details amongst the membership or to members of the public enquiring about societies and performance in their area. Society members 1.) This subscription reminder has been sent to the person currently recorded as the secretary or NODA contact for your society. If the details need to be changed, please update them by emailing the changes to info@noda.org.uk 2.) Society membership is open to any club, institution, organisation or association of persons, whether incorporated or unincorporated, which meets the following criteria: that it is a voluntarily organised group of individuals who, for the purpose of personal improvement, social networking or leisure, produce and promote theatrical works for performance to the public; which is governed by a constitution and/or rules which provide for it to be managed by a committee and/or officers, none of whom receive payment except for the reimbursement of defined expenses; and which contains provisions for the dissolution of the society materially the same as those in Rule 29 of the Association's rules. Subscription banding is based on the gross ticket revenue of the society for the previous year period from 1st April to March 31st 3.) Associate membership is open to bodies that produce and promote theatrical works for performance to the public, but do not satisfy the criteria set out above. 4.) Schools, colleges and university membership is open to any institution that engages in the wider education of individuals, with some part of this formed by drama and the arts, be it the institution state or independently funded. 5.) Non-performing society membership is open to those societies which, for whatever reason, may not be planning a production for the coming year and are a performing society as part of their objective but would still like to maintain the momentum and the benefits of NODA membership. Society/group Members can pay their annual subscription by BACS, cheque or credit/debit card. The Direct Debit facility is only available to individual/joint members whose fee is not reliant on previous box office takings.
