Lynne Bustard
Lynne trained at the Lillian McNeill College of Dance in Glasgow and works as a freelance choreographer and dance lecturer.Since graduating she has worked extensively in the UK and overseas.
Her work ranges from stage, screen, fashion & pop. During that time, she has travelled to Switzerland,Germany,Malaysia,Thailand,Singapore, Alaska, USA, Dubai, Morocco, Australia and France.
Lynne worked at the world famous Moulin Rouge in Paris with La Toya Jackson and was lucky enough to choreograph the Scottish premiere of the film Moulin Rouge.

Lynne has a Las Vegas style Cabaret floorshow currently performing in various corporate entertainment/theatre venues throughout the UK and overseas.
She has choreographed many pantomimes and summer seasons as well as working for world class cruise line companies.
Lynne spends a lot of time working as a lecturer/ choreographer for various educational establishments and production companies.
Teaching credits include the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Dance School of Scotland, Glasgow Clyde College, Strathclyde University and The McDonald College in Sydney, Australia.
Session: Choreography
Choreography is a vital aspect of any musical theatre or pantomime. This course will provide both experienced and new choreographers with a toolbox of techniques and approaches – over the week you will cover a wide range of material and genres so there will be something for everyone – from traditional dance – to Fosse to more contemporary styles
During the week students will:
- explore a wide range of choreographic styles and genres from traditional to contemporary.
- develop your understanding of how the use of music, dynamics of orchestration affect mood and storytelling in choreography.
- look at the importance of dance technique, energy levels and movement qualities.
- experiment with story-telling through movement.
- develop a practical understanding of how using pattern and formation adds dynamics to choreography.
- understand how to work with a cast and a production team.
- learn how to adapt choreography for various abilities.
This is a practical course. Please be aware that there will be a great deal of physical movement involved in this course, so a high degree of fitness is required.
