Love, blue hair, Celine Dion, bad jokes, poetry, major life changes.….

Set in a farmhouse on the edge of Salisbury Plain, Visitors centres on Edie and Arthur, childhood sweethearts who have been happily married for 50 years. As Edie's memory starts to fail and Arthur has the occasional fall they have to face the fact that they can't carry on living as they were. Kate, a young graduate, still looking for her direction in life, comes to help out and their middle-aged son Stephen drops in to find a refuge from his own difficulties. The play is a hymn to the beauty of life-long love: it is tender, poignant, funny, sharp, sad and heart warming.

"infinitely touching" (Guardian), "an absolute beauty, by turns funny, tender and desperately sad", "There is great richness and an almost poetic resonance in the writing" (Telegraph).
