A North-East musical based on a true story about 8 courageous women from South Shields who in the 1970/80's raised over £100'000 for cancer research.
Written by Tom Kelly and John Miles, the story is portrayed by a star studded cast of hand picked leading ladies from numerous amateur companies across the North-East, and directed by local theatre icon Enid Gale.
