Altrincham Garrick is in District 1 of the NODA NW Region.
They are an independent amateur theatre located in Altrincham, Cheshire, founded in 1913 and have been in operation continually since.

Their facilities include: a state of the art, 400-seat proscenium arch theatre as well as a 50-seat fully equipped studio theatre.
They also have a professional front of house services including: full time box office; bar; kiosk and substantial car-parking.
On the whole the operation is run by volunteers, with a team of paid staff.

This group stage twelve full scale productions each season in the main auditorium and a number of smaller scale productions in the studio theatre.

The Altrincham Garrick's productions include drama, musical theatre, pantomime, farce and comedy.
The society is also support other amateur visiting societies, who hire their theatre to stage their own productions.
Additionally, they commercially hire out the facilities to professional touring productions and for corporate purposes.

The society also have a youth programme, GAPA (Garrick Academy of Performing Arts) which is a venture giving young people a foundation in the disciplines of performance.
GAPA perform their own productions as well as being called upon to appear in the societies main productions when youth performers are required.
