There was so much to admire in this production the enthusiasm of the company on stage was infectious and I must confess to being totally infected along with most of the audience. All the four main boys and the four main girls gave totally enjoyable and convincing performances. I was most impressed by Lewis Lockwood (Don) and Lois Horsfall (Barbara) they both gave very mature singing and acting portrayals in their parts. The comedy in the show was provided by Cev Barker (Jerry) and Veronica Burkitt (Stella) she was a brilliant o.t.t. pushy mother. The production team did a fine job of welding this very large company into a very well organised production. The show was well costumed in the 50's & 60's style and the fine orchestra and excellent lighting and sound along with the most fantastic sets. I loved the London bus set - such a wondeful flair. This was a most enjoyable production.
