Arriving with no pre-conceived ideas of what the production would be, ` Mixed Up!`  turned out to be an interesting evening of sketches, based on ideas from, and written by,  the group.  Overall the evening was a mixed bag of material that went through the emotions of life.

First half highlights were The Emperor`s New Clothes, and The Café, which was my favourite.  This was a poignant look back at a relationship, revolving around a piece of cheesecake.  Excellently performed and very moving.

A clever look at role play, with a job interview that rebounds, was the pick of the second half.

Toast, the final piece included all the company and touched on all the items in the production, cleverly done.

At times the tempo of the evening was rather slow, and some of the sketches would have benefitted from being shorter, but credit must go to Jayne Brookes-Clayton, Mark Poole, Catherine Dolan, Gary Peake, Tracy Rollings, Jamie Brooks, Jeannie Jordan and Andrew Barlow for their hard work in what was a most testing format.
