This very versatile theatre company seem able to jump about from one or two venues for their productions and also from senior and junior productions and from plays to musicals to cabarets. This play version of Blood Brothers follows the same storyline as the musical about the Johnstone twins alike as two new pins except that in this production that was not the case. Dave Hoyle (Mickey) gave a very strong and confident portrayal as the under priviledged twin and was very well supported by Dean Booth (Eddie) the other twin with a much more sympathetic style of presentation. Louise Maude (Mother of the twins) was excellent as the down trodden underpriviledged mother unable to deal with her unmanageable problems. Nicola Watson (Mrs. Lyons) switched her positions to suit her scheming intent most convincingly. Ysanne Morrill (Linda) Mickey's girlfriend played the role of peacemaker between the twins with great skill. Paul Hardill (The Narrator) was brilliant with a lovely smooth way of presenting the story that much enhanced this most enjoyable production.
