Purpose built van from 'The Lady in the Van' for sale in South Buckinghamshire

Amersham Playgoers Theatre Group (based in South Buckinghamshire) are selling their purpose built van from their recent production of 'The Lady in the Van'

The van has been built to represent the rear portion of the vehicle and to ‘be backed in’ at an angle from stage right. The shorter side is 5ft long, the longer 7ft. Set layout available. It is fitted with two static wheels and runs on an underframe on four castors. (Castors available separately.)

It arrived on stage painted blue and was sprayed yellow with quick drying, non-toxic acrylic paint during the interval, it was re-painted blue at the end of each performance.

It is built as a kit in three main sections – a back complete with doors and two sides.

In addition it has - floor cross members, castor legs and loose floor panels, roof cross members and roof panel, two wheel assemblies. 

At present, it has been dismantled into 3 sections for ease of transport and storage.
