Session: Pinter – Play and Politics

“Truth in drama is forever elusive. You never quite find it, but the search for it is compulsive. The search is clearly what drives the endeavour. The search is your task.” Harold Pinter

Have you a fascination with the plays of Harold Pinter or would you like to get to know his work better?
Are you an actor that loves immersing yourself in excellent writing?
Does the realisation of subtext fascinate you as a performer?

Then this is unequivocally the course for you…

This practical acting course will delve deep into the work of Pinter – a writing career that spanned 50 years and produced a huge range of some of the best work of British theatre.  It’s perfect for actors who want a hands-on exploration of his plays and for directors who would like an opportunity to develop their knowledge of how to stage top quality writing.

During the week you will

This course is for actors (although directors are very welcome as long as they are prepared to get on their feet and have a go) with some experience of working with text and it’s staging.
