Sarah de Tute

Sarah is a Music Director originally from Yorkshire and a graduate of The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Recent Commercial Theatre credits; Strictly Ballroom (Global Creatures), Showboat (David Ian Productions), Ultimate Broadway (GWB Entertainment), CATS (Really Useful Group), Because of You (Westend Artist Album SimG Productions), Joseph (Bill Kenwright LTD). Other Commercial and regional credits include, Love of a Nightingale (Ciromedia, Bristol), Hello Dolly, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Evita (Leeds Grand Theatre), Night of a Thousand Voices (The Royal Albert Hall), Sunday Night at the Theatre Royal (Drury Lane Theatre, London), Lion King, Little shop of horrors, Mama Mia, Little Mermaid, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Urinetown, Guys and Dolls (American stock theater), Bullets over Broadway, Hands on a Hardbody (Oakland University, Michigan). Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Assassins, Into the Woods (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland). She has recorded for BBC radio with The Orchestra of Opera North, Inspiration Choir and for Australian and Asian Television. Sarah has been a visiting creative for Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, ArtsEd London and Leeds College of Music and is delighted to be a tutor for the National Operatic Dramatic Association.

MT Part People profile picThe perfect opportunity for energetic performers who want to spend a week learning more about the practical skills of performance; integrating disciplines of singing, dance and movement. Using a smorgasbord of high energy, celebratory musical theatre songs from earlier classics to present day gems. This practical course will stretch and develop students understanding of rehearsal and performance technique as well as how to navigate the delights and challenges of these joint disciplines. This course promises to be a high energy, fun fuelled week of Musical Theatre Song and Dance.
