Lanark Amateur Musical Society - http://www.lams.org.uk

Have you ever known a girl who wanted something so badly that she tried too hard to get it? Meet Sweet Charity, the girl who wants to be loved so much that she has lost sight of who she is. Set in the swinging 1960’s New York, this is a bright and sophisticated show in every sense – it’s also a comedy in every sense of the word with lots of fantastic dancing and singing, too! Wonderful musical numbers include Big Spender, The Rhythm of Life, If My Friends Could See Me Now, Too Many Tomorrows, There’s Gotta Be Something Better Than This, I’m a Brass Band and Baby, Dream Your Dream.

All of the hugely talented cast have a ‘tingle in their fingers and a tingle in their toes’ with excitement to take you back to the swinging 60’s to enjoy this highly entertaining show.
