- Accommodation in single occupancy en-suite rooms.
- Meals (breakfast, morning coffee, light lunch, afternoon tea and dinner)
- For full time, or two combined short courses from dinner on the Saturday of arrival to breakfast on the Saturday of departure.
- Non-residential fee includes coffee, light lunch, tea and dinner each day from dinner on the first Saturday to dinner on the Friday.
- For students on a single Short Course fee includes meals from Saturday dinner to Tuesday afternoon tea, or Tuesday dinner to Friday afternoon tea.
- All tuition, including attendance at all classes and workshops during the week. Students are encouraged to join in all activities during the week; both course work and optional extras. Individual tuition is not possible within the School except where stated in the course specification.
If you need to arrive early on Friday 27 July, or stay Tuesday 31 July or Friday 3 August after a single short course, rooms can be booked via HQ at a cost of £55 for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast
What's not included
NODA does not include cancellation or personal accident insurance within the course fee. Students are strongly advised to make their own insurance arrangements especially against cancellation. If your existing Holiday Insurance doesn't cover you or if you haven’t got any Holiday Insurance, ask NODA Insurance for a quote.
Terms and Conditions
In all matters the Summer School Chairman and/or the Summer School Director’s decision shall be final. NODA Theatre Summer School reserves the right to substitute tutors at any point leading up to the first day of the school.
NODA Theatre Summer School will aim to deliver the course as described in the Course Descriptions page, however course content may be flexible depending on the level and dynamic of any particular group and we reserve the right to alter course content at any point at the request of a tutor.
The School cannot accept students who are under 18 on the first day of the course under any circumstances.
- Registering for a course
Students must complete the online application form.
On receipt of your completed application form you will be sent an e-mail confirming your place and an invoice for the remainder of your course fees. A paper based confirmation is available on request.
NODA is delighted to be able to offer UK based students the opportunity to apply for a Bursary funded by NODA to support their attendance at NODA Theatre Summer School. Applicants for a Bursary must also apply for a place at NODA Theatre Summer School and pay their deposit. Should you be unsuccessful in getting a Bursary and therefore cannot attend, your deposit will be refunded. This is the only situation under which deposits may be refunded.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 (£50 per Short Course) per student is required to confirm the application
Any student who is not an Individual Member of NODA or a bona fide member of a NODA or AIMS affiliated Society must pay an additional fee for individual membership of NODA. Click here for information on membership fees and how to apply.

Students applying prior to the 23 March may pay the balance of the fee in monthly instalments by Direct Debit. A form, if requested, will be enclosed with acknowledgement of enrolment. Instalment payments must be completed by 29 June 2018.
All fees must be paid in sterling. Cheques should be made payable to ‘National Operatic and Dramatic Association’. Post-dated cheques cannot be accepted.
Students may pay the deposit and/or the full fee by credit card or debit card.
Overseas students may pay by direct bank transfer. Euro cheques will not be accepted. Payment by bank transfer may incur an additional charge.
- Payment Policy
All fees must be paid by the 8 June (unless paying by direct debit). Failure to do so could result in NODA cancelling your place at Summer School. You will then become liable for a cancellation charge as per the cancellation policy below.
The following percentage charges of the course fee will be levied in the event of cancellation:
- Cancellation before 23 June - deposit only
- Cancellation after 23 June - 100%
Notice of cancellation must be received at NODA Head Office in writing and is effective from the day is it received by NODA.

- Additional Terms
Facilities for students with disabilities are available. Please ensure that your requirements are mentioned on the application form and we will do our best to meet them.
There are only a limited number of places on each course; therefore students are advised to enrol as early as possible to ensure a place on their chosen course.
Evening sessions are offered as a voluntary additional item by individual tutors and spaces are dependent on demand. Places on your chosen evening course cannot be guaranteed.
