A play with music written by Peter Aveyard
The plot is based on a real scenario that of Amy Johnson's solo flight to Australia told through a third party and there is a love interest in it.
Queen of the Air is a musical play requiring 15+ characters (4M, 8M) depending on whether a chorus is used. The age range is wide and suitable for a wide range of societies.
The piece is a play with music so could be handled similarly to No, No Nanette, The Boyfriend or Salad Days. Although a chorus is mentioned and there are some scenes where a crowd would help the plot, the show could run without too much emphasis on having a chorus.
The music can be supplied as backing tracks on a high quality CD for performances. This is the preferred option or alternatively a score can be provided on request (not yet available)
